Auckland North West Community Emergency Resilience Network

The Auckland North West Community Emergency Resilience Network is a collaboration between ANCAD and Hobsonville Community Trust to support collaboration and partnership of community emergency management initiatives. This Auckland North West network is open to all community emergency response groups/networks and community-led shelters in the North West area (SH18/SH16 north of Westgate/SH1 North Shore to Rodney). Please see the minutes from our first meeting on 8 August 2023.

The purpose of this network is to:

• connect those at the forefront of community-led response together, building awareness of who is doing what & where.

• facilitate shared learning, insights and resources as we grow the resilience of our respective communities and prepare for whatever lies ahead

• identify potential areas for collaboration or joint initiatives that will strengthen our communities.
